Check out the Surfer ad from 1999 by Guinness. Who said that advertising doesn’t work: Guinness was my staple beer at Aston, much to Vannerz and Jon Boy’s disgust when in rounds with me (which I promoted at all times).

After uni I didn’t drink as much of the black stuff, but a pint of Guinness is always welcome.

This one as part of our Dublin pub crawl (well we sat in two different spots of The Old Storehouse) where we watched Cork beat Tyrone in the Gaelic Football (first full match I’ve ever watched in full – I always remember the highlights on Transworld Sport), had dinner and listened to some Trad watching Roxy do some Irish dancing in front of the whole pub.
