It would be rude of me to not add Samuel Smith’s Taddy Lager to the blog. On our trip through London we took the girls to the Cock, where Kel and I first met that fateful Friday afternoon after work.

The Cock was our work local, the Samuel Smiths pubs are famously cheap: 1.99 a pint back then = always pulled in the crowds. The Taddy Lager still tastes the same – a full bodied rich lager with a unique fruity flavour I instantly recognised. Famous for a full on headache the next day, but where better to start your night for a tenner!
Thanks to the Cock and the Samuel Smiths brewery – it is part of the story behind this blog!
