Touring

Last night in Athens: a trip up the Acropolis to see the the ancient ruins – was hot and a hit. Too many photos to add today, but here is my favourite ruin at the top – the Odeum of Herodes Atticus – getting ready for some ballet.

Great to see it being used still.

We had a last dinner in Athens – check out the sign.

Then we wandered back home, but not without visiting a tap room I had my eye on.

The Beach Bum, Tropic Ale by Blame the Sun Brewing. A local Athens brewery. Dad and I sampled this one and both agreed it was a good brew, slightly more refined than a Mamos (more on that another day).

As the name suggests lots of fruit flavours, you definitely get the lime after taste.
