On Monday 8 September we left Athens on the Celebrity Infinity for our 10 night cruise of the Greek Islands and Turkey. The touring party includes the 4 of us, Nanny, Da, Christine and Dennis, plus a lot of other old people. There are only 8 kids on board!! Stateroom 3079 is pretty cosy for 4 people, but is our home for the next 10 nights. This will be the longest time in the same bed since Sydney.
The first night we got stuck into cruising. We won some art, the girls got some free bracelets (look out Georgia and Livi) and we had an enormous 4 course meal.
First stop the next morning is Chania, Crete. No excursions booked, so after hitting the gym and some school work, we jumped on the bus into Chania.
Hot, hot, hot in the streets buying souvenirs, checking out the mosque etc, so we headed to the beach for an afternoon swim and a cold beverage.
Back on ship, the L12 Terrace put on Moana 2 – the girls got prime spot with a burger dinner from the buffet!

Would I come back to Crete? Yes, big Island, hardly saw anything.
