Low Mobility Athens

This blog is dedicated to my grandparents 😉

Hi, we’ve been to Athens and had a blast but let’s start from the beginning. . . we  arrived on Wednesday 3 September, we met Granny and Grandad and checked out our flat in Koukaki.

On the first full day we went on a bus around all of Athens and it was so BORING but we did stop at the 1896 Olympic Stadium (the Panathenaic Stadium) – where I lost a tooth!

The next day we went to the beach and had a fish manicure and it wasn’t that fun because fish started actually nibbling you and it hurt. But it was still crystal clear and beautiful.

That evening, Nanny, Da, Christine and Denis arrived for dinner, although tired we all had fun. It was also Denis’ birthday- he turned 75! We had a good cake.

The next day was a schoolwork day followed by some shopping – Mum needed a new suitcase! But soon after we went out for dinner with everyone else for Father’s Day (in Australia). It was fun. For desert we had Baklava and It was really good. Don’t tell Jasmin.

On the very last day we went to the Acropilis to see the Parthenon. For some like Grandad it was very hard but for others like me it was easy. It was very old but I liked it.

After Parthenon we went for dinner and it was good.

The next morning we said goodbye to Granny and Grandad :^(

Daisy, thanks for the blog dedicated to the oldies!! We had a lovely time together in hot, busy Athens and saying goodbye was very sad.
